Meet Megan!

I grew up on farms near Watertown, New York, and have been around animals for as long as I can remember. In 2021, I moved to Scottsville, Kentucky, where I live with my boyfriend and our five children.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life — from the smallest pets to farm animals and even exotics. Horses, in particular, have always held a special place in my heart. I spent most of my childhood owning and riding horses, and my love for them has only grown stronger over the years.

I’ve always been passionate about caring for, helping, and rescuing animals — I’m even that person who stops to move turtles safely off the road! Recently, I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Veterinary Assistant Certification and am currently studying Horse Care Management, with Horse Behavior as an elective. My goal is to continue my education in Veterinary Medicine to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) and eventually a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and doing fun activities together. I’m so excited to be a part of the Scottsville Animal Hospital team and can’t wait to meet you all!
